Streamline Your Workflow with the Ad Set Copy Feature
To help you scale your campaigns more efficiently, NewsBreak Ad Manager offers a robust Copy function. This tool allows you to replicate the entire structure of an ad set, including all the ads contained within it, in just a few clicks.
Copy vs. Duplicate & Edit: What’s the Difference?
While both features help you replicate content, they serve different purposes:
Duplicate & Edit: This is designed for quick, single-item replication where you intend to make immediate changes to a specific ad set before launching. Learn more here.
Copy: This is a comprehensive tool that allows you to clone the entire ad set configuration and, crucially, gives you the option to include all associated ads in the new version. Learn more here.
We plan to streamline these features into a single experience soon. In the meantime, we wanted to provide you with both options immediately for maximum flexibility.
How to Use the Copy Feature
Locate Your Ad Set: Navigate to the Ad sets tab within Ad Management.
Open the Action Menu: Click the three vertical dots (⋮) in the Action column for the ad set you wish to replicate.
Select "Copy": Choose Copy from the dropdown menu to open the configuration window.
-
Configure Your Copy Settings:
Include Ads: Check the box "Copy ads in this ad set" if you want to replicate all the creative assets along with the targeting settings.
Select Destination: Choose whether to copy the ad set into the same campaign or a different campaign that shares the same objective.
Set Quantity: Use the Number of copies selector to create multiple duplicates at once.
Schedule Adjustment: You can check "Set start time to tomorrow" to give yourself a 24-hour buffer for final edits if the original start time has already passed.
Finalize: Click the red Duplicate button to generate your new ad sets.
Best Use Cases for Copying
Scaling High Performers: If an ad set is performing well, copy it into a new campaign with a higher budget while keeping all successful creative assets intact.
Bulk Testing: Create multiple copies of a successful ad set to test across different campaigns or objectives simultaneously.
Time-Saving Templates: Use a perfectly configured ad set as a "master template" to quickly build out new campaign structures.
