To install NewsBreak Pixel with Google Tag Manager (GTM):
Step 1. Install NewsBreak Pixel base code on GTM

Log in to your Google Tag Manager account and select the Workspace for your website.

Click the Tags option in the left-hand sidebar and then click the New button.

Give this tag a meaningful name (eg. NewsBreak Pixel Base Code), then click on the Tag Configuration box - it’ll open a list with all available tag types. Choose Custom HTML and a blank text box will appear where you can input scripts.

In a separate tab, log in to NewsBreak Ad Manager. Go to Tools -> Event Tracking to create an event with Pixel, and choose to integrate with GTM and your event type. You could also turn on Event value if you have a value associated with this event. Code and instruction will be generated after you filled all requried fields.

Copy the NewsBreak Pixel base code under section 1.

Return to GTM from step 3 and paste the NewsBreak Pixel base code into the text box.

Click the Triggering box to create triggers or use existing ones for NewsBreak base pixel.
For example, if you would like a new trigger of page view event on all pages to fire NewsBreak base pixel tag, you can click the “+” on “Choose a trigger“ drawer, name it, then click Trigger Configuration box, choose “Page View“ from “Choose trigger type“ drawer, after configuring the trigger, click “Save” to save and add this trigger to NewsBreak Pixel Base Code tag.

Click the save button in the upper-right corner to save the base tag.
Step 2. Install NewsBreak Pixel conversion code

Click the Tags option in the left-hand sidebar, then click the New button.

Give this tag a meaningful name (eg. NewsBreak Pixel Conversion Code), then click on the Tag Configuration box - it’ll open a list with all available tag types. Choose Custom HTML in this list and a blank text box will appear where you can input scripts.

Paste conversion code in GTM:

in your NewsBreak Ad Manager Event Tracking Tool, copy the NewsBreak Pixel conversion code under section 2.

Paste the code above in the blank text box in GTM. It looks like this in GTM:

Click the Triggering box to create a new trigger or choose an existing one for NewsBreak conversion pixel.
For example, if you would like a new trigger of clicking on a certain button to send NewsBreak conversion event, you can choose to create a click event with specified Click ID or Page Path. -
Click the save button in the upper-right corner to save the conversion tag.
Step 3. Test if NewsBreak Pixel is installed correctly on your website
You can either test NewsBreak Pixel in GTM or with the NewsBreak Ad Manager Event Tracking Tool.
To test on GTM:

Go to the Workspace for your website and click the Preview button on the top right.

Input your landing page URL and click Connect button. A new tab with your webpage will appear. You should then see a popup that says “Connected!”.

Trigger your conversion event in the new webpage.

On GTM, you should see both the base code tag and the conversion tag you just created shown in the Tags tab, under Tags Fired.
Or to test on the NewsBreak Ad Manager Event Tracking Tool:

Submit and publish your changes on GTM.

Log into NewsBreak Ad Manager. Go to Tools -> Event Tracking, and find section3 - Test pixel integration.

Input your landing page URL, then click Go test button and a new tab should appear.

Trigger your conversion event in the webpage opened by the NewsBreak Event Tracking Tool.

On NewsBreak Ad Manager, you should see a successful test result with both your base code and your conversion code installed correctly.
