This FAQ article is designed to inform advertisers on what to do next after their ad gets rejected by Ad Support.
Why was my ad rejected?
Ad rejection reasons are unique to each ad. Some advertisers will get their ads rejected because conversion tracking for a tCPA campaign is not set up correctly and others will get rejected because of typographical errors. Regardless of the reason, Ad Support will inform you of the specifics via your email.
💡Pro tip: We HIGHLY recommend checking the advertising policy before submitting ads.
How can I fix the issues with my ad?
If your ad gets rejected, keep an eye out for an email from adsupport@newsbreak.com with the subject line ‘Urgent: Ad Rejected - Action Required.’ Review the bolded reject reason carefully and focus on addressing that specific issue. For example, if your headline was over the character limit, revise the headline to 90 characters or less. Once you have made the proper revisions to your ad, make sure to resubmit by saving.
Can I appeal the ad rejection decision?
If you believe your ad complies with the policies or if the rejection was a misunderstanding, you can submit an appeal by emailing adsupport@newsbreak.com.
Should I create a completely new ad or modify the existing one?
Whether you should create a new ad or modify the existing one depends on the specific issues that caused the rejection. If the issues can be fixed with minor adjustments, such as resizing an image, modifying the existing ad might be more efficient. However, if the rejection was due to fundamental issues, such as promotion of weight-loss products, creating a new ad that adheres to our policies from the start could be a better approach.
How can I avoid future ad rejections?
To avoid future ad rejections, thoroughly familiarize yourself with NewsBreak’s policies and guidelines before creating any new ad. Make sure to conduct a review of your ad content to ensure it aligns with NewsBreak’s requirements.
