NewsBreak is pleased to announce the launch of our new Jobs tab found within the NewsBreak app. Our mission is to connect Local Businesses with our Local Users for meaningful community engagement and hiring purposes.

How to begin?

Complete this form. Get your job posted in the NewsBreak app. Watch your applicant flow increase completely free of charge - seriously, it's free and that easy.

Local Business to complete this form. This should take no longer than 5 minutes. I've attached an example of a listing for guidance
NewsBreak to add your details into our Jobs tab and send to you for approval/ feedback before setting live
NewsBreak to share contact info (name, email, phone) for users who click apply and ask us to share this info with you
Local business to receive a weekly report via email with performance insights and a full applicant list
Local Businesses to notify NewsBreak when/ where they find an applicant

About the Local Jobs initiative

We’ve run countless interviews/ polls and analyzed data to identify that Jobs is something our users are interested in. Specifically, we recently ran a 5000-person poll and found 56% of our users are looking for a job. Please see industry-specific insights from the poll below:

What if I'm looking for jobs?

Simply download the NewsBreak app (iOS, Android) and click 'JOBS' in the top navigation bar. We have local businesses patiently waiting for your application. If you don't have the app downloaded please visit business.newsbreak.com/jobs to view available jobs in your local area.

How is this different from running a paid advertising job ad?

Our Local Jobs tab is much different from advertising on our ad platform. When your job is posted in the NewsBreak Jobs tab the hierarchy of jobs shown is based on when the job is submitted. There is no guarantee on how many people will see your job posting in the Jobs tab. Whereas, when you advertise with NewsBreak, business.newsbreak.com, you can guarantee impressions are delivered within your desired geography over a set amount of time. That said, advertisers have seen great success advertising job posting on our platform, which has influenced us to create this new Jobs tab.
