Welcome to our FAQ article on ad placements! In this guide, we will explore the different ad placements available and how they align with specific advertising goals. But first we need to discuss how we decide to position ads in-app.
How can I select my ad placement?
At this time, you cannot select your ad placement because NewsBreak has an unlimited native strategy. In short, this means you give us the assets and we decide when and where to run to drive optimized performance. So even though you can’t select the specific ad placement yourself, you can trust that we are optimizing on the back-end to achieve desired results. To recap, we decide placements for you and will automatically allocate your budget to the placements that are achieving your goal CPA (Cost-Per-Action). We do the hard work for you!
What types of ad placements does Unlimited include?
- In-feed Ads: Integrates naturally within the Newsbreak app, matching the look and feel of the surrounding content
- In-Article: Seamlessly embedded within premium publisher articles
- Related Ads: Maximizes engagement with creatives alongside the most relevant headlines of the day
- End of Article: Offers personalized ads based on user’s reading preferences
- Immersive Flow: Delivers full-screen video ads for maximum impact
What bid types are available for these ad placements?
The available bid types for all ads are CPM (Cost Per Mille), CPC (Cost Per Click), and Target CPA (Cost Per Acquisition).
How can I check what these types of ads look like?
When creating an ad, you will find a “Preview” section located on the right side of the screen. Simply click the dropdown menu and you will find the five options listed above. You may then click on each option to view their respective creative appearances in-app.
💡Pro Tip: Take a sneak peek at your creatives in different placements with the help of the “Preview” tool during the ad creation process!
