Welcome to NewsBreak Ad Manager! You've just taken a big step toward increasing your visibility. We created this article to help you better understand the platform so you can get your first ad up and running as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
After you register and log in, you'll be brought to the workspace of NewsBreak Ad Manager, where you'll mainly interact with three sections: Dashboard, Ads Management, and Billing.
When you log in, Dashboard is your default page. It shows a preview of some key metrics of all your ads over a certain period of time. This provides a quick and intuitive summary of your ads' performance. Here, you can:
- Change the time of data that you want to see;
- Choose two metrics in which you're interested and use the chart to compare.
Ads Management is the core section for you to create and manage your ads. Here you'll be able to:
- Create ads
- Edit ads
- Run reports
- Search ads
- Filter ads by status
- Sort ads by a key metric in the list
Simply click the "Create ad" button to begin the process. A form specifying the details of your ad will appear. You will be prompted to fill out 3 important sections: your ad's appearance (Creative), your ad's delivery form (Delivery), and your intended audience (Audience).
Creative is the image that represents your business or product with a CTA(call to action) button that will be shown to NewsBreak App users. You can customize the title, image, description, text of the CTA button, brand name, and landing page URL. You'll also be able to see a preview of just how your ad will appear in the NewsBreak app as you change the fields.
Remember, the image you provide is crucial to captivating the user and generating clicks. Try to make your image as enticing and clear as possible.
In Delivery, there are two components to Delivery: timing and cost.
In Schedule, you can choose the start date and period of time for the ad to run, default run time is one month after moment of creation. You can also choose specific days and times of a week to run your ads in More time options.
Daily budget is how much you'd like to spend for your ads each day. An estimated maximum number of users will be provided after you fill out this field. The total cost of the ad is calculated by multiplying the daily budget by the number of days on which the ad is run. Please note that while the true cost may fluctuate on a daily basis, the average daily spend over the delivery lifetime will align with your Daily budget.
Audience is where you can target potential users by specifying desired location, gender, age, user interests, a type of mobile phone, and many other criteria.
In addition, you can also add 3rd party trackers if needed in More Settings.
Once you've finished building it, click "Create Ad". If your ad has been successfully created, you will see a dialogue box displaying your current account balance and the total budget (your daily budget x number of days). We use a pre-paid payment method so you will need to maintain sufficient funds for your ad to continue running. If your account balance drops too low, your ad will be paused and will not be delivered to NewsBreak App users. Use this area to make changes to your balance. Note that you can also use the 'Billing' section to add money to your account."
Billing is where to manage your reload and spending. Here, you can:
- Check account balance (account balance may be subject to delay)
- Reload money to account (via Stripe)
- Check your billing history (reload history and daily spend)
